CMAT Exam Pattern 2022

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the CMAT Exam Pattern 2022 for applicants interested in pursuing an MBA degree at India's leading business institutions. NTA conducts the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) every year.

10 Significant Changes to the CMAT 2022 Exam Pattern

The AICTE has announced the following significant modifications to the Exam Pattern of CMAT 2022:

  • CMAT test 2022 will include a new subject on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
  • The new part will have 25 questions.
  • The new part is optional, and it is not required that all applicants attempt it. Only applicants who are interested in this course should attempt this part.
  • An additional 30 minutes will be allotted to tackle the 25 questions in the new segment.
  • The total number of questions in the CMAT question paper 2022 has grown from 100 to 125.
  • CMAT 2022 has 5 parts instead of the previous 4 sections.
  • There will be 25 questions in each of the five parts.
  • There are no sectoral time limits, thus candidates may tackle any question in any part within the time restriction of 312 hours.
  • Only candidates who have chosen to take the fifth section are obligated to do so; others are not compelled to do the fifth section. As a result, the CMAT exam length for candidates who choose the fifth part is 312 hours, whereas for others it is 3 hours.
  • Only the first four parts' scores will be used to compute the CMAT 2022  Exam Pattern percentile and Merit place. The fifth and options sections are not included in the percentile computation.

According to the NTA, the Exam Pattern of CMAT 2022would have 125 questions divided into five sections. The following is the overall structure of the 2022 CMAT Exam Pattern:`

CMAT Paper Pattern: Activity, Do's and Don'ts, and Distinctive Features

  • NTA publishes a CMAT Mock Test with answer keys on the NTA-CMAT test website before the CMAT exam. Examine your performance by taking free CMAT 2022 mock exams of various LoDs.
  • Go through the CMAT 2022 trial test attentively to get a feel for the online computer-based CMAT Exam Pattern 2022 and become acquainted with the screens, layout, and navigation tools in the updated CMAT exam pattern.
