NEET Application

NTA has established set standards to apply for NEET examination. NEET is an India based exam that checks the eligibility of the candidate whether he can apply for admission in medical colleges or not. Only the eligible candidates can register for NEET exam 2021.

NEET application form 2021

Every year, NTA announces for NEET application forms online. The form becomes available for the candidates on the official website on the set date. NEET application form 2021 release date was July 13, 2021. The last date to fill the form is also set by NTA i.e. August 10, 2021. The NEET 2021 admissions procedure began with the completion of an online application form and ended with reporting to the designated institute for confirmation of admission. The NEET 2021 application procedure includes all of the phases in between. In the previous year, there were 15, 97,435 registrations received for NTA NEET.

Candidates had to register on the NEET official website to fill out the application form, and the application procedure was performed entirely online. A candidate has to complete these four stages in order to complete the NEET 2021 application procedure successfully.

Basic Instructions for NEET Candidates

  1. The Application Form for NEET 2021 has been separated into two sets/phases to ensure that applicant data is provided swiftly.

Before the deadline for submitting the online Application Form, the first set of information must be completed. Candidates must fill out the second set of information prior to the announcement of the results/downloading of the score card within the period that will be announced separately through the NEET Portal in due course.

At their respective times of availability, all candidates must complete each set of information on the Application Form. His/her candidature will be cancelled if he/she fails to fill out any of the required details.

  1. Candidates who submit incorrect or falsified information will have their applications rejected, and they will also be prohibited from taking any NTA tests. Such candidates will likewise face criminal charges and be appropriately punished under existing legislation.
  2. The examination cost will not be returned after it has been paid. The fee will not be allocated to a subsequent examination.
  3. Even if an Admit Card has been given by the NTA, the NTA has the right to revoke any authorization granted unintentionally to a candidate who is not qualified to sit in the NEET.
  4. Applications that are incomplete or do not follow the requirements are likely to be rejected without further notification.

Documents Required for NEET Application

Before you start registering your application for the exam, make sure you have all the necessary documents with you.

The candidate is required to fill the asked details carefully. The candidate name, parents name and other details should be filled with correct spellings. Apart from that, the following documents are required when applying and registering for NEET 2021.

Candidates must scan photos of the following items in JPG/PDF format for submitting as part of their online application:

  1. Mobile Number that is valid
  2. A valid working Email Address
  3. Class 10 details and Class 12 details (Marksheet, certificate, roll number, school address, and other details)
  4. Correct spelling of parents name
  5. Aadhaar card number (last 4 digits only)
  6. Class 12 Roll number which was issued by the Board/Election Card (EPIC No.), Passport Number, bank account, any other valid Govt. identity number, or ration card number.
  7. Scanned images of passport-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, Class 10 pass certificate and postcard size photograph

How to apply for NEET exam 2021?

NEET allows a candidate to register for the examination in simple way. It has a step-by-step registration process and it has the following steps-

Step 1- Registering for exam

The first step to begin is to visit the official website www.neet.nta.nic.in. Click on 'New registration' on the page, which will take you to the instructions page, which you should read attentively. Then, after reading the instructions, click on a declaration.

Step 2- Fill in all the mandatory details that includes personal and academic information.

Step 3- The form will ask you documents. Make sure you upload the required documents carefully.

Step 4- To make the registration process complete, a candidate has to pay the required amount of fee.

Step 5- Make sure to take the print out of confirmation page and keep it with you for future reference.

Important dates of application

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for paying NEET application fees to August 15, 2021. Candidates who have not yet paid the money for the NEET application form 2021 can do so using the link until the deadline. On August 14, the National Testing Agency (NTA) closed the NEET 2021 application form correction session. Since August 11, the NEET application form modification option has been accessible at neet.nta.nic.in login 2021.
